The Celetná Library was established following a merger of the departmental libraries of psychology, pedagogy, andragogy, and sociology. It also facilitates loans from the library collections of political science, social work, logic, ethnology, Hungarian studies, and Romani studies.
The library has a small study room and provides printing services for students and staff of the Faculty of Arts. Fines for overdue books can be paid in cash or by credit card. Loans from all the libraries in the Celetná 20 building can be returned through the book drop box on the ground floor or directly at the loan desk.
Due to the breadth of the library’s scope and the available space in the building, the library does not have an open shelves section. Document requests should ideally be submitted in advance using the UKAŽ discovery service.
