All CU FA libraries will be closed during public holidays on Friday 3 April and Monday 6 April.

The Jan Palach Library will be CLOSED on Friday, 27 March, due to the event Night with Andersen.
All loans and reservations from this library that would be due on this day have been extended until Monday, 30 March. No overdue fees will be charged for this day.

All CU FA libraries will be closed from 20 December to 4 January.
During this period, we will also not be processing requests for Demand Driven Acquisition (DDA) documents from the “ProQuest Ebook Central: Perpetual, DDA and Subscription Titles” collection.

On Monday, 17 November, a public holiday, and on Tuesday, 18 November, during the Dean’s Sports Day, all libraries will be CLOSED.

All CU FA libraries will be closed from Thursday 17 April, when the Dean’s Day is scheduled, and will remain closed during the public holidays on Friday 18 April and Monday 21 April.

All CU FA libraries will be closed from Monday 23 December 2024
to Friday 3 January 2025. During this period, we will also not be processing requests for Demand Driven Acquisition (DDA) documents from the “ProQuest Ebook Central: Perpetual, DDA and Subscription Titles” collection.

On Tuesday 22 October, all CU FA libraries will be CLOSED due to the Dean’s Sports Day. In addition, office hours of the Centre of Scientific Information (SVI) will be cancelled.
On Monday 28 October, the Independent Czechoslovak State Day, all CU FA libraries will also be CLOSED.

All libraries at CU FA will be CLOSED during the Rector’s Sports Day, i.e. on May 14. The libraries will restore operations again from the following day.

All libraries at CU FA will be closed on dean’s day on Thursday 28 March and during public holidays on Friday 29 March and Monday 1 April. Libraries will reopen on Tuesday 2 April.
