From 14 to 18 July, a large international conference will be held at the CU FA main building, and to ensure safety, the management of CU FA has taken several precautions. On these days, the public will not be allowed to enter the main building.
Students and employees are not subject to this restriction, but they can be asked by security staff about the purpose of their visit. Therefore, students and staff must carry their student and staff ID cards with them when entering the building.
From the evening hours of Friday 11 July to Sunday 13 July (inc.), there will be an outage of the library systems due to server migration. The following systems will be out of order: UKAŽ, the eResources Portal and the Electronic application for the use of the CU libraries services.
On Tuesdays 10 and 17 June, one of our collections will be relocated. As a result, we expect there to be increased noise in the Red Study Room and PC Lab between approximately 10 am and 5 pm. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding!
Library opening hours will vary during the summer, so please always check the opening hours page before visiting the library. During the summer, the same loan period will apply to loans from our libraries as duringnormal semester-time operations. You will be able to return books via the book drop box in the respective building.
CU has trial access to Project Syndicate until 16 May. Project Syndicate, an international media organization, publishes and shares commentaries and analyses on important global topics. It posts and shares commentary on many topics, including economic policy and growth strategies around the world, human rights, Islam, and the environment. Access is through the eResources portal.
All CU FA libraries will be closed from Thursday 17 April, when the Dean’s Day is scheduled, and will remain closed during the public holidays on Friday 18 April and Monday 21 April.
The CU FA Library reminds its users that in order to use the services of all CU libraries, the printing services at CU FA and the services of CU Dormitories and refectories, it is necessary to have one of the CU ID cards in the form of a plastic chip card. It is not possible to use these services without a physical card. To use library services, you must also be an active CU user or a registered external user.
Until 28 February, CU has trial access to the Encyclopedia of Greek Language and Linguistics Online. The Encyclopedia provides an authoritative and comprehensive treatment of all important aspects of the language throughout its 3,500-year documented history, offering a systematic overview of the language at all levels and from many different perspectives and theoretical traditions. It is accessible through the eResources portal.
