Dear users, please pay attention to the following information about restricted access to the main CU FA building:

From 14 to 18 July, a large international conference will be held at the main building of the Faculty of Arts (nám. Jana Palacha 2), and to ensure security, the management of CU FA has taken several precautions. During these days, the general public will not be allowed to enter the CU FA main building and therefore it will not be possible to visit open libraries or return books from closed libraries via the book drop box in front of the entrance to the Jan Palach Library. In case of questions and difficulties, please contact the library to which your question refers. You can also use the Celetná Library to return books (opening hours can be found here).

Students and staff are not subject to this restriction, but may be asked by security staff about the purpose of their visit. Therefore, you must carry your student and staff ID cards with you when visiting the building.
